A placebo is false medicine. This is used in experiments to see whether real medicine work. So one patient will be given a Pilll (and his condition will improve) the other a placebo (with the assumption that his condition will NOT improve - as a placebo is nothing but a sugar pil) But strangely enough, placebo's can have a psychological effect on people and if they believe that the placebo will make their headache go away - then it does. A very bizarre phenomenon. So, if you believe the placebo will cure your disease - it might, but overall it is just a dud pill.

Well, since a doctor would never tell you he gave a placebo (sugar pill) it will affect you whenever you want it to I guess. Good luck with that trip!

Unless you are participating in a medical study, your doc would never give you a placebo. If you are in a medical study, they would not tell you if it was real or placebo.

it wont,a placebo is a pill made of sugar, and unless your diabetic it wont, a placebo is used to test the percentage of people who get better, if the placebo group gets better its all in their head

Bamma get placebo too. Bamma say he get the generic brand though. Bamma say much cheaper that way. Bamma take one or two and wait 15 minutes. Bamma say if nothing happen he take 2 more. Bamma wait again. Bamma say pretty soon he get tired of waiting and go to sleep. Bamma say placebo best sleep aid Bamma ever try. Bamma otta know.

if it is a placebo its not the real drug they use that for studies.
