Pride and UFC wins (Pride wins all).......people like don king have destroyed boxing beyond repair. We will never have another Ali vs. Frazier, Marciano vs. Charles, Liotta vs. Robinson etc. in boxing .....its sad, but at least we have mma.

Fedor vs. Crocop is where all the excitement is today. Hopefully mma learns from the mistakes of boxing.

UFC is just a company that promotes MMA, and MMA is just a combat sport where practitioners of any mix of two or more martial arts compete with each other. Boxing isn't really a martial art either. It's also a sport. Anytime you where gloves, then it's obvious you're practicing a sport. Traditional Karate is a martial art, though it is becoming a sport which forces it to lose quite a bit of it's qualities. Where sport has rules, Karate does not. Karate also has grappling and can be used on the ground as well. In the traditional styles there is no alternate standing/ground concept of grappling. It's all one in the same. As far as who would win in a fight... That can't be answered. All practitioners have different skill levels, experience and expertise in what they do. By just throwing in random practitioners, it always comes down to who's better trained. Mood is also a factor. People's moods and conditions change day to day. There are way too many personal factors that have everything to do with the person and not the style the know. Any has the potential to beat the other. It's just the matter of the practitioner. Anyone who underestimates ANY form of combat (be it combat sport or a killing-included martial art) will either take it to the hospital or to their grave.

I prefere boxing over Ufc and can't really understand the argument that some people have by saying that boxing has alot of limitations compared to ufc. The limitations are the rules and thats the whole point of boxing hand to hand combat no kicks no knees no headbutts no grappling etc thats what makes it good. Sports like kick and thai boxing have less limitations than boxing but it doesent mean they are more popular than boxing. Ufc is the new fashionable sport at the moment and i can see why you like it and can appreciate the skill needed in a sport like that. But don't give up on boxing theres alot of great fighters and great matchups out there at the moment especially in the lower weight classes.

I like all 3 and its easy to be a fan of UFC, Pride and Boxing. Cuz you watch big boxing fights whenever they are on which is once every few months, and pride and ufc events are hardly ever on the same day. So I watch all of them, but my favorite is Pride. Shockwave '06 is gonna be great on Dec 31!!

I have to agree, assuming the UFC doesn't get too barbaric. Boxing has a lot of limitations, as opposed to a sport that allows a combination of fighting arts, including grappling.

Nevertheless, I think it's better to be involved in the fighting arts (or any sport) than to be a fan.

Ufc has a lot more blood than boxing. And yeah there are alot of limiations in boxing. In boxing you use ur upper body strength and in ufc you grapple and its a matter of making the oppnent tap out. I prefer boxing because like in ufc, sometimes they just jump on each other then grapple for like the whole timeand in boxing it moves fast, they keep moving and moving.

i think ufc has a better story behind the scences and boxing is too much money involved, it's to the point were fights only happen if there's money involved. the ufc sets up fights to were if it's a fight the fans wanna see they'll set it up, like tito and shamrock.

plus a boxer only has to learn one fight style and a mma has so many so learn from much more of a chess game to me.

they are different i like both UFC is more gritty like a fight you would see outside and it's a plus that it is on local television VS boxing you gotta have HBO to see any of the fights

Boxing, without the bullshit. They say UFC is no holds barred no rules. It has rules, so has boxing but it is the superior product..
