Now before this situation we kinda messed around and something happened and we stopped talking for a while. Recently we have started to talk and I want to be with him but I'm scared of rejection and I want him to make the first move

Who put the stop the last time you were messing around? If it was you, then it won't be him to make the first move (he's probably afraid to be rejected as well)......so you've got to give him a signal or something that will show you are ready and see how he reacts.... If it was him who put a stop....then he is not ready.

you want to be with him and your afraid to make the 1st move?, now you want us to tell you what to do in that case?.... do you have a blockbuster movie rental card?...your gonna need ot sitting at home alone all the time, you cant be afraid to go after what you want, if you sit and wait for things to happen to you, then, you will need plenty of movies to occupy your time, cuz there is gonna be a lot of time wasted.
