Why are so many people sold on the fact that humans control the climate and global tempertures when in fact we can't even predict the weather 3 days from now? Does anyone realize that the earth's history has gone through many drastic climate changes without humans even being present?

You can blame that liberal lunatic Al Gore, who is a sociopath of the worst order. He also made a ridiculous, laughable claim about inventing the Internet, and now has roped in the stupid liberals into believing this big lie about global warming.

Yes, the earth has gone through drastic changes. But those changes took millions of years. The global warming that concerns us has happened over the past 50 years, as a result of the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, most of which has been man-made.

The earth is warmer now than it has been in the past 1000 years.

And I can't help but think that if someone on the right side of the political scale was talking about this (rather than Al Gore), more people would pay attention. And he never said he invented the internet. Do some research.

ahhh history, what is really true and what is false? Just remember, as humans we make mistakes, lie, and change stories to accommodate our needs at the moment. Upon doing an experiment in college, my instructor whispered a few sentences into one students ear, the student repeated what she said to another and so on down the row, by the last student, it was a whole new story! So, based on that I do not believe in too much of what might be real in history or the bible, humans wrote it remember.

Now based on historical weather, was it really as bad as people wrote it to be? What I see is a major problem with global warming, very true, some of it is due to man, we have created so many pollutants that have changed the atmosphere, earth, waters, air, etc. We've damaged the natural content, that is going to change weather.

It's interesting to watch movies like "The day after tomorrow" it really makes you wonder...

But to answer your questions, yes people are mad about global warming, it's a threat to alot of species and humans, and yes the earth has gone through weather changes according to history but we really don't know the full story. And as far as predicting the weather they can only rely on instruments that are man made and men make mistakes.

You can argue as to how much of an effect humans have on the weather but knowing what effect we have has nothing to do with how much distruction we cause, in fact most of the time we destroy because we do't understand.
That aside the fact is that we are destroying the planet. We are killing millions of trees which cleanse the atmosphere while we are sending more pollution into it. You can argue against global warming but you can't argue with acid rain. The earth may naturally go through drastic climactic changes but cars were not made by nature and neither were factories.

Only a fool argues in a burning house.

I live where right now we should be around 15 degrees with plenty of snow. Right now it's about 50 degrees, no snow and the grass it green.

Believing whether or not there is a man made global warming doesn't make any difference. It's happening.

They say the world would have gone like this any way but global warming just sped it up. You can help by donating or by geting green power.

Did you also know that a man made pollutants can only account for a very small portion of atmospheric conditions, that natural occuring events are responsible for most of it (volcanoes, etc...)
