Updated September 30, 2006: The TSA has recently made changes that allow for passengers to carry-on small amounts toiletries under certain conditions. To comply with the new rules, each of your toiletries must be 3oz or less (most drug stores have a section that features these smaller travel sizes) and you must place all the toiletries in a single quart-size zip-top bag. You must remove this zip-top bag from your carry-on for screening at the security checkpoint.

Yes and Yes. However, all liquids, gels and aerosols must be in three-ounce or smaller containers and in a one-quart, zip-top bag. So you can bring those things, but you DO have to have them in the zip-top bag. And YES, they DO mean one-quart bag too, NO bigger. (see lots of people having to throw everything away if the bag is bigger than one-quart - they strictly enforce this). You must take it out of your luggage and place it in the bins to be sent through the x-ray machine. Keep in mind that once through screening, you can put it back into your carry on and take it out when you get on the plane to use.
Note: You can bring film in a bigger clear bag to be hand checked (800 speed of higher film) but CANNOT put liquids, gels or aerosols within the bag with them.

Absolutely 'yes' But it would be a problem on arrival at the Quarantine if it the international flt. Almost everywhere not allow u to bring most kind of meats in their country but the snack is ok. Anyway if u wanna bring yr own frozen food on board 4 having it on the flight recommend u shouldn't do that -- it not sure that they will have microwave or even they do they might not heat it up 4 u.

Actually you can carry your contact lens solution into the flight. It happen to me travelling from India to Japan.
But in Malasiya they allowed me to carry a ligher with me, though it had the flamable liquid gas in it. It was ok for the crew to allow.
Other than cloths and papers, I was denied of carring toothpaste, hair get and even some medicines that I had.
