Easy. You didn't see a bear. Obviously you are at the south pole since all four walls are facing to the north. Since this has been established, there can not possibly be a bear since there are NO bears Polar or otherwise) in the south pole.

How do you even know what colour the bear is and all the walls are facing north and secondly what colour of bears is it because they come in all colours.
The closest answer I could come up with is that it's a polar bear,please be like me because once I saw it I ran away,haha!

Near home, the bear is brown but if I was in alska it would be white polar bear.

it's white.... you're at the south pole, which is why all of the walls face north.... the rest of the riddle is filler to throw you off track.
