I'm starting to think it's Islam, because I've asked a lot of questions about Islam recently (I'm reading about it, so I have some questions). I never noticed this much bashing of any other religion, even my own.

Islam probably suffers the worst arrows around here. The majority of the posters are predominantly Christian, and not many Christians here have a lot to say about Islam that isn't based on the twisted images of it we get from Iraq. From calling them all murderous terrorists to deliberately misquoting their book to accusing them of Satanism and worldwide genocidal ambitions...not even Christians, atheists, or Pagans get that kind of concentrated bile.

I would go with Islam too. Christians bash Islam and then they bash themselves lol by that I mean they bash other Christians for holding different views or doctrines.

Makes me sad to call them fellow believers. But fellow Christians not even Jesus bashed people from other religions and He did not even verbally bash Satan but simply said the Lord rebuke you.

Hatred of mankind is not a Christian quality. Sorry believers in Islam you have your right to believe whatever you think is right. God is the ultimate Judge

I think honestly more Americans are ex Christians and know which buttons to push. Islam definitely gets a lot (some guy seems obsessed with the number of wives or underaged girls Mohamed did - that one seems in poor taste, but, whatever) but not, to my way of seeing it nearly the same. Take creationism or abortion, nobody really knows where Islam stands on them so they just don't get dragged into those fracases.

Don't bring things here if you're afraid of getting some mud on them (I say that with respect - really, this place is fun when it's a bit of a food fight).

Well, Islam is attacked a lot. So is christianity. The difference being that christians also hand out a lot of bashing. They bash just about everyone.

Yes, yes. I know. Not ALL christians bash others. Just the inconsiderate morons.

Most attacked on Y!A is not a religion, but it's homosexuals. It almost seems that "Scriptosexuality" (judging sexuality based on an old book) is a new religion.

The religion most attacked is Islam. It's insane to see how prejudice the modern western world is about Muslims.

Muslims and homosexuals are also the two groups who continue on giving the most loving answers to all those attacks, which strikes me as something amazing.

Islam is definitely up there, but I would say mostly Christianity. Although..I suppose a lot of it meanness is directed at religion as a whole. I take that to mean my religion(christianity) so it could be an even amount.

I was going to say muslim/islam before I say the info, have to agree, but in general religion is attacked. This is a breeding ground for imppossible ideas overthrowing truth (In a few cases any ways, like physics).

I would have to say Islam. Christianity is not a religion, its a way of life, to most.
