my ex is on house arrest. long story short: weed and a dog bite. he actually went to real jail, and now he has an ankle bracelet.

he and i were about to settle down when it happened. then he got locked up for two years. thats a lot of time to have a change of heart, and i had one.

when he came out, he had nowhere to go. if i kick him out, he goes back to jail, at least for a couple months until he can arrange something else, which would be hard. i'm not that mean. but if he doesn't pay his half, i can't afford it, and again he goes back. so we're stuck together.

but - he's been told we're not what we were. he says he accepts but acts like its not true. plus, i want to bring my boyfreind home sometimes too. if i did, it'd be so weird because he'd obsess over wahtever we were doing. though i sometimes think him hearing us have a good romp would send the message home.

he's wouldn't and couldn't hurt my bf or me - and would get locked up for trying.

well?

In a perfect world, where everyone acted like mature adults your ex would probably be totally cool with this, as long as he could also bring his new GFs over. However, in the real world bringing a guy over is just asking for trouble.

If you want to send your ex back to jail, then do it the open and honest way by discussing living arrangements not the backhanded way by doing something that gets him to break the terms of his agreement.

You should not live with your ex. That is going to be a bad situation anyway. You said he goes back to jail if you kick him out... well it sounds cold, but that isn't your fault. Maybe that's harsh, but that's life.

I would say that you have gotten yourself into a pickle. If he is looking at more jail time, Why not kill you both.

you need to set good boundaries with your ex and you need to let him know that it's your place and if you want to have your boyfriend over he has to deal with that and he needs to be cool about it :) :) :)
