If you are a good person you will go to heaven. Your body is yours to do what you want. Just remember tattoos don't go away easily. Be sure it is something you want on your body for the rest of your life that represents who you are.

Yes, if you are God-fearing and you've accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then we'll see you in Heaven. His Sacrifice has already paid for everything you've ever done and ever will do.
However,...
metaphorically speaking, tattooing your body (God's holy Temple) is about the equivalent of spray-painting a church.
Defilement of yourself is a sin and is punishable; but with earnest repentance, it won't disqualify you from entrance into Heaven.
The whole premeditation-thing isn't good though; and if you're being convicted by the Holy Spirit (getting a "gut-check"), then it's definitely a bad idea.
I'd go with the temporary. There are also other (non-permanent) forms of self-expression.
GOD Bless!

No, you're not go to hell because of your tattoo, neither you don't go to heaven because you'r don't have a tattoo. The truth is, we go to heaven because we believe in Jesus, and he washed our sin, so we reborn, and like having a new life, in spirit, in front of Him. When we die, He give us a new body, eternal one, that don't have a tattoo!!
The problem is, tattoo is a destructor to your body, now, on earth, because tattoo have a dangerous material, like mercury, cobalt, copper, etc, in the ink, that can cause you cancer.
And God don't like you to destroy your body, because it's a Holy temple in front of Him. Our body is an offering to God, like in Rome 28, so you must use it properly.
The other problem is, when you'r getting old, your skin's not smooth like it use to be, so if you make a dragon tattoo now, maybe it become a worm or a spider! hahahaha.....
So you must think twice to make a decision for making a tattoo in your body. Maybe it's like a trend now, and it's look cool, but what do you know about 10, 20, 30, or 40 years later? What if someday a person with a tattoo have a stigma like a terrorist? You don't know right?
My suggestion is, don't make any tatto in your body.
Good luck and God blees you.

The Old Testament says not to get tattoos -- but having a tattoo carried a different meaning thousands of years ago to the ancient Jews. It could have meant disbelief in God, or association with other religions or a pagan culture, or what have you.
As long as the tattoo isn't meant to be some sort of anti-God "fashion statement," I don't think it would automatically exclude someone from heaven.
In the US and British navies, it was very common not long ago for sailors to get tattoos of anchors or other symbols on their forearms. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think it is such a horrible thing, but of course God is ultimately the judge....... Yet I don't think he would go through all the horror on the cross and then say, "Oh I would have never done that if I knew you'd get a tattoo". Besides, aren't our bodies temporal anyway? Wont we get new bodies in heaven? So long as you know what you're doing, and don't think you'll be ashamed of the tattoo when you turn sixty, go ahead.

Keep in mind that the Old Testament is a history book and that the two commandments in the New Testaments are how we should live our lives today.
Yes, people with tattoos can still go to heaven, if they believe in Jesus with all their hearts.

Lets put it this way.. you are MORE accountable for getting one becuase you KNOW ahead of time you are not suppose to. Its truly a wrong thing. Leviticus talks about it pretty plainly. Read it over again.
life is about choices and you will answer for each one. How you gonna explain... well I konw you said not to but I really wanted it anyway.
Your body is a temple. Not to be marked up wtih things of the world. The saints stand out.. we keep ourselves clean and pure.
Choose the right- a tattoo over God? seems like a pretty simple choices to me. Who gave you that body. Take care of it.
I promise you, more importantly HE promises you if you are obedient... he will bless you.

Your tattoo is on your body. You leave your body here when you go heaven, so you won't have a tattoo.
