i have this one girl on my mind all the time and i can't get her off my mind every time I try to keep her off my mind it does not work..
so is it love or a crush?

If you need to ask it isn't Love.
It might be a Crush or Limerence if it is one sided or Romance or Friendship if she feels the same way.
Crushes and Romance always fade with time. Love does not, it lasts.
I once had a friend who could not stop thinking about a girl. He put a heavy rubber band (elastic) around his wrist. Every time he thought of the girl, he would pull the rubber band back an let it snap against his wrist (leaving a red mark). I saw him a few weeks later and he no longer had the rubber band. I asked how did his method work.
He told me that life was great. Previous girls lasted only a few days. This one had him snapping for weeks until she noticed the marks on his wrist, which caused her to ask about them. They became engaged within a week. They have been married for 40 years. I do not believe that it was a Crush.

either crush or lust, depending on how old you are. Love develops from a relationship, where it's returned, and both of you have each other on the mind.
right now, sounds like you've got it bad for this girl. tell her how you feel and be honest. try to start with something, and love would come out of it.
