For the stomach, you must try Pilates. It's wondrous and I swear by it. The technique will first help you to learn how to find and feel and strengthen your deepest abdominal, or pelvic floor, muscles; once you've learned how to feel them, you'll have a much easier time targeting the area when doing fat-burning exercises (and will know _how_ to perform sit-ups for maximum effectiveness).
The thighs are something of a problem. I've never been able to slim my thighs. They're naturally rather huge and muscular, and if you do weight-lifting and squats and lunges like I have, they'll get even bigger (but certainly stronger). That's the way quad muscles are. So for those I recommend boring old full-body aerobic training or perhaps even running.
P.S. Swimming, as one of the other respondents mentioned, is also great - no impact on the feet, and it will strengthen your arms like you won't believe.
Do also consider some diet changes. Many times fat will melt off with exercise if you eliminate your processed foods and stick to whole foods.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

The best way is to do aerobic exercise, anything that raises your heart rate and keeps it elevated for about twenty minutes or more three times a week. If you do sit ups you'll define the muscles, but it won't get rid of the layer of fatty tissue between the muscles and your skin.

Cardio is the best way to burn fat all over. Drink only water, and eat a healthy balanced diet. sit ups alone will only make your stomach bulge out more, because you are only building muscle, and not burning fat. So do lots of cardio to burn that fat away.

just a thought, but sometimes people can be too self-conscious. yu might see something wrong about urself, but other poeple wont.. and if they do see something wrong, its to a lesser extent than you
so yeah anyway about ur question, sit ups might also give u muscular abs, and girls dont usually like that.. so i would recommend running (works on abs too, but not as rigorously..)
plus it shapens em faster since its endurance.. burns off lots of fat too
as for thighs.. u can really remove fat from one part of ur body (excluding lipsuction.. but thats still unhealthy)
running will also help that, as more and more fat is burned off ur thigh will lose some as well.
hope this helps

last year in gym class every mon wed and fri we did arms and legs one we did was called hip pops and thats where u lay on the floor and put ur hands under ur hips and keep ur legs extended then bring ur legs straight up and lift ur hip off the ground then bring only your hips back down and up and down and up do it for like 45 secs non stop and u will feel the burn
Then theres one u can do with a partner is where u lay on the ground and ur partner stands at ur head n u put ur hands around their ankle then u lift and kick ur legs up to them and they'll push ur legs towards the floor but dont let ur legs touch the ground and do it over and over again.
trust me these work if u stick to it u will get those nice stong abs and when u use ur muscles it burns fat
