where can I go to get the water tested for quality? It looks good.. it looks clear... just like city water... and there is no oder... but I still would like to be sure before feeding it to my kids. Where can I have that done and do you know what the cost might be? I don't know if we are talking $50 for a water quality test or hundreds of dollars... I am clueless..LOL.. HELP! Thanks

Your local county agent can help you with this, or the county health department. Not sure of the cost, where I live, it didn't cost anything.

talk to the city you are moving to the usually have info on water quality even if it is country living they will direct you in the right direction probably free

invest in a good in line filter (go to home depot) or a brita water filter and pitcher. if your water smells or leaves stains in the sinks and tubs you may want to try bottled water otherwise ya'll
be just fine

DEAR IF YOU THINK IT IS UNSAFE TO DRINK ALWAYS BOIL IT AND LET IT COOL THAT WILL KILL ALL THE GERMS IN THE WATER AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY MORE PRBLEMS AND SET YOUR HOT WATER HEATER TO (135) AND NOT ONE (120) IF YOU HAVE LITTLE KIDS NEVER LET THEM OUT OF YOUR SIGHT OK SO THAT THEY DO NOT GET BURNED THE BEST I CAN DO FOR YOU OK TAKE CARE AND GOOD LUCK ON THIS.

we use to have well water. it was soooooo good! but my grandpa was a genius. water engineer. every year he would come add salt and **** and get it so good and so soft. I loved it, and miss it. so fresh and cold in the winter. yum yum. So yeah you have to do alot to it. But it's good.

I think you can call your county health dept. and have them check it and it should be free. DO NOT drink any of it until it has been checked.
