i don't know abt any which u can download and use offline but there are many online dictionaries. You just need to search for them. Eg. http://dictionary.reference.com/
In google, u can search for a definition by including the special operator "define:" with no space between it and the term you want defined. Eg. define:dictionary
If Google has seen a definition for the word or phrase on the Web, it will retrieve that information and display it at the top of your search results.

BETTER GET OXFORD OR CAMBRIDGE DICTIONARY CDS AND INSTALL IT IN YOUR PC FROM LIBRARY OR FRIENDS ,ENGLISH PROFESSORS .. REALLY NICE .. YOU CAN FIND MORE..I INSIST YOU TO USE ONLY THESE TWO DICTIONARIES .. SAY NO TO ANY OTHER DICTIONARY
