hi. i've bred peach faced lovebirds for years but recently have encountered a black cheek lovebird very cheaply. i am aware that they are rare but am curious as to what i can breed it with. only other black cheeks? other eye ring species? a peach face? thanks.

They should only be bred with other Black-cheeked lovebirds. Cross breeding can result in sick or sterile lovebirds It is best to look around for a breeder of them also. They are very rare and from what I told not a easy one to breed well.

If they are love birds they can breed as long as they are lovebirds. Mutation doesnt matter they will still have babies, but all babies will be split to the parents mutations no matter what colors they all turn out to be.
