The guy lives across the street from me and we've been talking for like a week (He calls me like 3-5x a day and is not my boyfriend) I gave him a kiss and now he will not stop calling me. Ive decided to stop answering his calls hoping he'll get the hint, because i dont feel like explaining that i not feeling him...should i tell him to his face or just ignore the calls? (Sorry for the long question)

well i ain't trying to blame you but you sent the wrong message by kissing him but i know how you feel,i had someone like that too.you have to go up to him and tell him that you not felling him like that and you only intrested in him as a friend.tell him he's nice but it's just not how you feel.

Honesty works for this kind of problem. Tell him that you do not see him other than a friend/neighbor. That the kiss was just a moment and never meant anything beyond that moment. Ignoring him won't make him go away easily. He might see it as a challenge and stick it up with you 'till you budge.
If you want the sneaky way, get a boy who will act as your boyfriend. Make sure that this boy knows the real deal. If possible, get a boy you're close with to avoid another "nuisance" in the future.

Haha, that must have been some kiss that you gave him. I'd recommend that you tell him as nicely as possible that you don't appreciate his constant calling. Maybe explain that you're going to be busy everyday working or spending time w/ family, so you're not going to have time to talk to him so often. And since he's not your boyfriend, he doesn't have the right to really be so clingy towards you. If he doesn't take a hint, keep ignoring him or tell him straight up.

Why did you give him a kiss if you are not feeling him? That made him think you are into him. Ignoring his calls might not work, he seems very persistant and isn't nice.
Just explain to him that the kiss was a mistake or was just a friendly gesture. Leading a person on, toying with their emotions is very hurtful.
Tell him the truth.

Give him the old, "I got back together with my old boyfriend" to help him save face. Tell him you you're definitely not interested and are sorry you led him on. Say it to him directly (in person or on the phone) and if he asks why he doesn't see the guy just say, "oh he's around sometimes," and drop it. Don't give the guy any more energy, just be cordial but don't stop and chat anymore. And don't kiss your neighbors anymore unless they've paid for the lobster dinner - and you want to pursue a relationship.

Why did ya kiss him then... My friend had the same problem when he kissed a girl he didn't have feelings for he just was being a guy. You need to tell him you don't feel the way he does if you igonore him he could still think you like him and that is leading him on.

okay. we have a stalker. lets face the fact you can't give him a sign like a kiss to signify you being interested and brush him off like that. c'mon. but then they have their mysterious ways and so do we. believe me, you have got to tell it to his face. he possibly thinks that you not answering his call is a " come to me closer" call so tell it to his face. but then don't make most mistakes. sit down quietly and talk to him like a brother. that at least shows him u have some respect for him even if u don't and trust me he'll appreciate it. hope it helps

Keep ignoring him. Eventualy he'll get the hint and give up... It took me two weeks to "get the hint"... Realized it tonight at work! Much beer now...

Tell him, however, some guys never take the hint. He will bother you and bother you. Then he will get angry with you for rejecting him and most likely say nasty things about you.

He sounds very clingy and needy. I would just not answer the phone. If he asks about it just say you do not have time to chat on the phone off and on all day.
