I am just wondering if it is true that most women who have all boys feel they are "missing something" or their family isn't "complete" if a woman says she is satisfied with having only boys is she being honest?

I have two wonderful sons, ages 8 and 11. I have never felt like my family wasn't complete because I didn't have a girl. I thought my second child was going to be a girl, but I was very happy when I found out he was a boy! I think raising boys is much better than raising girls. That could be because I like to do things that my sons enjoy: camping, fishing, bicycling, and just getting dirty in general! I was never a froo-froo kind of girl, so now I don't have to worry about having a daughter who is girly. My sons and I get along famously, which I am very thankful for! I wouldn't add a daughter to the mix for anything.

In China, (well... pretty long time ago, actually) women preffered baby boys over girld for the men would bring the family's name. (surname) And only the boys get to go to school, and all the girls stay at home and wash the dishes. And sometimes, the girls only eat the leftover food. It's pretty sad, actually, that things like that happened before and there's still mothers who prefer boys.

I have to tell you that I think your question is pretty silly. I would think that "most women" are quite content with their families, regardless of whether they have boys, girls or both. Are you a man, because that would explain a lot if you are, and if you are a woman, I expect you dont have any kids of your own, or you wouldnt even be asking this ridiculous question.

The truth of it is in the teenage years boys are much easier to raise than girls. Some people prefer not to have the hassle that comes with raising girls.

I always thought that having a girl would be fun because you could dress them in cute clothes, but boys would be sooooo much easy when they get older. That's a hard one!

i know a few women who cried when they kept having boys.

I think they want a girl so they can teach them the good things their mother taught them, and do better with the things their own mother failed at.
It's harder to do that with boys.

It depends on the woman. I knew I was having a girl before I officially found out I was pregnant...Usually they are happy with what they have. and soem just want kids no matter what they are...
