my computer says missing files it will not boot it is windows 2000 what do i need to do thanks garry?

I always like to drop kick mine, but really, the easiest thing to do would be to reload your operating system. If you have info on your computer that is important though it would be lost. If this is the case, then you need to go to a computer store that does repairs, and they can figure out what files are missing and add them, but this is complex, and often expensive. If you have the windows 2000 disk, (or have wanted to upgrade to XP) I would just reload the system. Easiest way to go.
