Life is a dear thing to all of us but if it came to making a decision to sacrifice your life so that the world could have a better chance at adapting into a lasting world peace, would you yield?

There are plenty of people who have given their lives already, some as soldiers, some as martyrs, some for good and some for bad. Assuming that your own sacrifice would be a "no-brainer" decision and a personal sacrifice which could yield good without a doubt, would you do it? Would you be willing to die for the sake of a more peaceful world?

If you answered "yes" to this question and you believe in life after death, do you realize that sacrificing the idea of your after-death life might help to achieve this same illusive goal of world-wide peace? Are you willing to donate that "life" to help achieve peace on eart

Do you honestly believe that giving up religious belief will bring world peace? How naive are you? There will always be believers of something. There will always be evil, whether you want to admit it or not. There will always be power hungry men. The only time it will stop is when God is ready. I would gladly give my life for God, for another human, and for my country. My everlasting life will always be up to God to decide, not man.

God Bless you and Merry Christmas.

R U stupid? There will never be peace on earth. Even Jesus Christ knew this! When He came 2,000 years ago, He came to establish a new kingdom. A kingdom of God. In what we call heaven, and what He called 'My father's house'. He prepared a place for us away from this world, because He knew that this world is lost to the continual evil of men, and I would NEVER give that life with Him up for peace on this earth. This earth shall pass away. Good riddance to it, and to the evil men in it.

Absolutely not what kind of peace is there if one must die. Just look at suicide bombers dying fo a world of sh!t just shows the futility of death.
learn to define justice as an intregal part of peace. But you will have to redefine it as the current oppresive and vengeful ideas of justice are backwards and corrupt to the idea of serving justice.
peaceout and have a happy holiday hooya.

I fought in the military so that my children would have a better life. We had a real cause in that war and we won.

God loves all of us and we only have to believe in Jesus with all our hearts to have eternal life in Heaven. There's no option that we believe for someone else, so that they can go to Heaven.

No. I love my life. There are other ways to peace than sacrificing your life. And it is easier to promote peace if you are alive and kicking. PEACE MEN!
