I am going to eat something that says it has grouper in it. What exactly is that?

grouper is a fish, i had some in Tampa, Florida pretty good it was a Cajun grouper sandwich......... has no fishy flavor....

Fish having a stout body and a large mouth. They can be quite large, and lengths over a meter and weights up to 100 kg are not uncommon.

It's a light fish; I believe in the Southern United States it's comparable to the cod and haddock that are served in the North.

Its a big ugly fish, but its really tasty, much like escolar or sea bass
