My kitties each got a new bed. My mom's cats got treats and a pack of paper (Ti LOVES paper balls). Tessa usually gets a scratching box (one of the Wal-Mart cheapy ones w/ catnip).
Toys are always good. Hartz has this one toy that is a ball w/ an arm coming up out of the center... the arm has feathers on it and spins around... my Phoebe LOVES it!! She attacks it even when I don't make the arm spin!
Special goodies make good gifts. Phoebe gets some leftover shrimp... Tabby gets steak. Ti likes Reddi-Whip. Tessa sticks to her kitty treats.
Hope this helps! Happy Holidays!!

Maybe it's only in my hometown, but every year the spca comes to the mall and sells toys, treats and stuff like that to benefit their organization. Every year I get my kitties (who are also very spoiled!) these little square pillow things filled with catnip. They are very simple but even my 15 year old cat goes crazy for them. They're only like a dollar and the money goes to a good cause. Maybe a local shelter in your area does something like this.

Get one of those little cat water fountains with a filtration system. Cats always like to drink from dripping taps, I notice, possibly because they find it fresher than water that's just been sitting in a dish. You can find the fountains at PetSmart and Petco.

A catnip toy plus crunchy cat treats! you can put them in a gift bag. Don't put it under the tree or she might tear the bag and use the goodes before Xmas, so keep it somewhere safe...

Maybe a toy mouse? A new bed? A scratch toy? Treats? A friend? Or you could just love her and pet her.

They sell inclined corrugated cardboard scratchers with catnip. My cats LOVE them. Oh and they also have a scratcher with catnip that has a ball that runs around the side and won't come out, mine love that also. Hope I have helped!!

Yeah, i am just looking at her, and what do i see? A smelly piece of vermin that does its mess everywhere. Sorry, but i don't have the same thoughts of cats that you seem to have. Why people rave about cats i'll never know!!
