essentially, i've ben with a girl for 6 months, and we're both free in a way. i go out with my freinds once a week and there no questions asked. i've never used it, but she also goes out with her freinds from college about once a month. i ask no questions what happens, so i don't know if she's ever used her freedom. for all i know, she hasn't - and the whole speculating whats happening can be fun.
we just have three rules: always use utmost protection, we communicate about concerns, and anything we do is jst a hook up. - nothing to get between us.
but i have a freind who insists girls are wired to get attached to whatever guy they hook up with. and he's busting my chops because my gf admits she's hooked up with 'hotties' for the hell of it at clubs before she was with me.
I guese i'm asking whether there are normal girls out there that would actualy see it as a good thing to have a guy to come home to but at the same time not giving up the freedom to have a little fun?

Girls can totally have a purely physical hook up without falling for the guy. If it works for you guys, do not explain it to other people. Their opinions do not matter. Does it work for you?

If thats what works for you then great, but just so you know, thats not a real relationship. Thats just someone to come home to every night until you find someone that you respect enough and care about enough to not let her sleep around....b/c how hurt would you be if she actually hooked up w/ a guy while you 2 were together do you really want some guy sticking it to your girl? You can have a lot of fun without hooking up w/ other people....and plus, just because you use condoms doesn't mean you wont get an STD or AIDS...so i would think twice about letting your girl sleep w/ whoever the hell she wants to then coming back to you....and no, most girls want a monagamous relationship...b/c we want someone who really cares about us

A balance has to happen. Most girls get attached to guys that they care about and won't seek out other relationships (or hook-ups). I think the wiring for girls is different than for guys and generally for most girls attachment is an almost immediate thing. Freedom need not ever be compromised for any reason, regardless of attachment. In a relationship, each party has to have down time.

there are girls who do the same as her. i think that having one guy should be good enough and if i want more then one then the one i have isn't gonna do any good for me...but yea i could see it as a good thing

If it were me, I would want commitment. Girls don't really like sharing guys...and the chances she'll fall for you are...well...big...with how close you get and everything...
