Why does God let people, even good people, to suffer so much if he loves us.

Suffering happens because of sin. God loves us so much that He doesn't force Himself into our lives, He lets us choose. We either accept His Son, Jesus, and live or we reject His Son, and die.
John 3:16 says: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life." God loved us so much that He gave His Son to atone for sin. God allowed His one and only Son, who was without sin, to suffer. Sinful mankind is made up of all kinds, even "good people", who deserve suffering and death, but by God's grace, born-again believers are saved.

TIME FIX

Creatures are fixed in present and can not move back in past to correct a thing or to make a change and the reason for this Fix is to keep the record safe till it is required by the ordained forces of judgement of GOD and the will of GOD.
Creature have no power over their future to make it of their choice and are helpless against all comings, happenings and incidents and that is to keep the moral state alive as a court of GOD and to impose the will of GOD.
That is the time fix called the present in our world providing us a chance to earn the future.

EARNING OF THE FUTURE

Those who put others in troubles, pain and disaster by doing injustice, aggression and by causing harm and loss and create fear and chaos earn what they do and they will find all that in return. In simple words they have earned what they have done and it will be measured according to the feelings of those who were targeted for suffering.
Those who have benefited the humanity and have taken care of all creatures have earned prosperity of future, which will be ultimate without an end.
It was told to all the people by all the Wise that do for others what you want others to do with you and don’t do what you don’t want others to do with you and by saying so, the Wise handed over the scale of judgement in every body’s hand and that is why GOD says that one is a judge of ones own self over ones own deeds.
On the day of judgement, one will find what one earned. The day of judgement is a great day of return of the acts performed by the creatures.

Listen to the Lord! All the tribes, generations and people. God blessed you with freedom of choice and captured you from the top of your head after your creation. God ordained death to declare the end of the test. Nothing is this life but the test ordained for you by your God, The All Able Lord.

Why do people always blame God? Ever think that sometimes it's a result of our own bad choices catching up with us? Or we are the victims of someone else's bad choice? Freewill needs to be looked at for the gift it is. SOME people will abuse this gift and as a result others (us maybe) will suffer!

Well; for one reason, God gives all people free moral agency ( the right to be wrong) and both, opportunity and choice. When we fail to do the proper thing(s) we suffer from bad choices. Even the bad choices of others will effect us all at times. God instills within Christians when we suffer in the trials of life, an awareness that we are not God and we need Him. God will not interfere in the affairs of man unless they [affairs] interfere with His over all plan for salvation of mankind. Starting from our first parents - Adam and Eve , they told God to butt out of their affairs and God being the gentle "man" He is, did ! So; when we suffer as people [human beings], we must remember, that God gives us the right to be wrong and all the "trimmings" which come with it !!! That is why God doesn't intervene in the affairs of man apart from His plan for all of us humans.

if you do any studying on the subject, great saints healed lots of people, and still do. But to become a great saint is a process, and few want to walk that road. Do not blame God. he told us to greater works than He had done. Just most of us don't. None of this is Gods FAULT. Love has not the maudlin meaning so often given it. It hurts to live by rules.

God gave us free will. To learn right from wrong we need to suffer a little bit.
Remember Aristotle -- Wisdom through Suffering.
Suffering also prepares us for the good times ahead.
When you suffer try to learn from the past.
If there is no lesson to learn remember that good times are ahead. Whe you truely believe good times are ahead, your suffering will become bitter-sweet. Soon you'll feel great again and you will have learned to conquer depression.

What is the definition of "good people" --- and once defined, who said it's compatible with God's definition, or His plan?

Our definitions of good or bad comes from what we think we see or our human perceptions, but God searches the heart - where other humans cannot really ever know what's in another persons heart.

Similarly, when a politician while campaigning convinces many people of their good intent towards worthy causes, but after elected they usually show their true colors or their real self-interest is more visible. Did they change from who they were while campaigning or did they simply hide it from the public view?

I am not a religious fanatic, but this has to be the best question I've ever come across. I'm not sure I know the answer, but I've heard it said that it's a test of our faith and our faith sustains us. I've also heard that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. And then it's also true that most are worse off--which in turn begs the question to be answered when we ask, "How bad can it get?"

To love is to suffer. If you love your parents, you will suffer when they get hurt or if anything happens to them. If you have kids, you suffer when anything happens to them. Suffering is part of our life and in the way we learn to suffer, in that way we become man and woman. The child cannot suffer he/she will cry for anything, but when you grow up you don't want to cry because you are a adult. With God or without God we will suffer, but believe me is not the same to suffer with God than to suffer without God. He corrects those whom he love and who likes correction.

God creates the ultimate good from the bad.

For example, before September 11, 2001 this country (supposing you live in the USA) was moving further and further away from God and disorder was emanate. After we got attacked by terrorists the revival BACK to God was record breaking! God used it as a wake up call to us.
