i have a interview tomorrow and need to take a shower, will i be fine? or should i wait? the interview is at 9AM and i have been drinking (after i got the tattoo). i want to take it now. but i know it shouldnt be washed. i got it 2 hours ago.

Take a shower in the morning when you get up that would be plenty of time. When you get out pat it dry dont wipe it then put vaseline intensive care lotion without perfume on it and it will be fine. Good luck at your interview.

If you want to preserve your tattoo I would recommend covering your tattoo with some plastic wrap (saran wrap works fine) and tape it over the tattoo with some waterproof tape. After you are finished your shower then you can remove the covering and gently pat the tatto with a clean cloth to remove any built up residue. DON'T SCRUB. Remember to recoat your tattoo with whichever ointment you were recommended to use, and if your outfit for the interview is binding to your tattoo you may want to cover it then also. Good luck!

I have always heard that you just do not need to submerge it in water. A shower should be fine, just dont keep the water shooting straight on it for very long and be sure you wash all the soap off. Afterward, put lotion or ointment on it.

when I got mine my artist suggested washing the tattoo with an unscented/uncolored soap (Ivory) an hour after having it done. Just rub very gently with soap and rinse well. Do not scratch or agitate the skin, just cleanse it gently. Other than that, try to keep shampoos or other harsh soaps off of it and be sure to moisturize it well with an unscented/uncolored lotion when you get out of the shower.

You can take a shower, no problem.
Just don't rub or scratch the tat and make sure you coat it with A & D oitnment after you bathe.

as long as you cover with sort of water prooff material - ussualy the tatoo place provide you this material
so it's ok for everything -

i have gotten several tats.i was always told to keep it dry for a couple days.fix the problem by covering the tat with plastic wrap and sugical tape,or a very thin strip of duct tape.if useing duct tape remove it with baby oil

you can wash it now. it'll be fine. my artist always says wash it in two hours or wait all night. so it depends on what time at night i get my tattoos.

dont take a shower if you like it ,even if you have an interview if you really really like it then dont take it out , but remember if you have an inter view you should cover your tatoo because rhat if they see your tatoo you will be so ashame of yourself.
