Interesting...I was wondering this earlier today....How long will they wait? 3,000 years? 5,000? Will there be a point where they say "oops, Nevermind." I doubt it.

PEOPLE HAVE SUCH A TABOO ABOUT TIME THAT THEY CAN NOT BE TAUGHT WHY WE ARE 2006 AFTER THE BIBLE YEARS ENDED.
THE O.T. BIBLE BOOK OF 39 IN KJV 1611 AFTER CHRIST WAS FROM 1110 YEARS AND DONE 443 BEFORE CHRIST. THE N.T. BOOKS OF 27 WERE FROM 50 TO 100 AFTER CHRIST.
KJV Bible 1611 CE published plus 303 years to 1914 CE an excepted translation for the end times of Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12; Satan has a short time to Rev.20:1-6,12,13; No Satan for 1000 years.
2Cor.4:3,4;
Satan is no longer god of this world. HOW MUCH TIME DID SATAN HAVE FROM EDEN?
Job 2:1,2; 38:4-7; Angels see earth in preparation, called morning stars and sons of God, Satan is with them. Eze.28:13-15; The cherub angel anointed over Eden. Gen.3:1-5; called serpent he decieved Eve. Isa.14:12-14; called Lucifer means day star and compares world leaders to him. John 8:44; Caused the death of every offspring of Adam and Adam. Michael and holy angels will cast Satan and unholy angels out of heaven and down to footstool earth AND THEY HAVE A SHORT TIME.
That short time is the end times.
Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end. John 3:16;

lol, well I don't think the dress would suit me. Well hey I'm not in a rush for Jesus to return I quite like my life without the apocolipse turning up =P Although I do wish people that take the bible THAT literaly would hurry up and meet him sooner rather then later. I'm a firm Christian and I have to amit I often wonder why God gave us brains when the people that supposedly have the "strongest" faith obviously don't use them! When he comes he comes, hey he take his time, personaly I don't think we'll need any help in ending the world, humans are like cockroachs you simply won't get rid of us that easily =P we'll end up having a nuclear war, people will adapt as they always do and find a way to live, and some point in the future I guess things will come to and end who knows. I believe in a timeless God, so why should I need to wait for him to end things? I mean somewhat of a contradiction don't you think? God creates a world that is perfect and he loves and suddenly decides to snuff it out, each person dies they will find out what this whole heaven and hell thing is all about, I believe in it I just don't pretend to know anything about, we'll all find out eventually I guess... I just hope I won't get frowned upon for not thinking "Jesus is coming look busy"

i ended waiting for Jesus to return after considerably reading the prophecies and historic previous confirmed me that he already decrease back. In 70 advert. - precise on time table! The Jews have been finding for a mundane kingdom, a conquerer to establish his kingdom in the international with the Jews being the grasp race. Jesus corrected this while puzzled via Pilate. while Pilate asked if he grew to become right into a king Jesus replied interior the affirmative with a qualifier. yet my kingdom isn't of this earth or of this realm. He additionally clarified that if his kingdom have been of this earth his matters could upward thrust up and make conflict for him. the dominion Jesus ushered in grew to become into the Heavenly Kingdom, his return grew to become into on the eve of the fall of Jerusalem while the final vestages of previous Covenant -The Temple grew to become into destroyed. the two Flavius Josepheus and Tacitus checklist debts of a militia seen interior the clouds that evening - the scripture in specific refers to Christ coming interior the clouds and believers assembly him interior the clouds (That replied my puzzlement - If Christ grew to become into to establish a mundane Kingdom why could we meet him interior the clouds in straightforward terms to return decrease back to the earth for his reign?). This additionally solutions the confident time statements by the hot testomony. the dominion is to hand, This technology shall no longer bypass, some are alive at the instant who will see my coming, Behold I come rapidly, do no longer seal the e book for the time is to hand all pointing to a return interior the 1st century. while you're waiting, you terrific be waiting for a time gadget to take you decrease back because of the fact Christ already decrease back. As promised!

The prophets of the old testament told of his coming for two thousand years before he finally came so taking another two thousand years or so wouldn't be out of line. God is trying to give everyone the opportunity to repent and come back to him but he will come again and take away the beleivers and destroy the unbeleivers. God is a God of the living not a god of the dead, as Jesus was resurrected and continues to live so do his followers. He is coming again and soon, he has provided proof of this to me and I'm sure he's provided it to other beleivers also, if he hasn't provided it to you, well I guess we know where your not going!

He's only been gone for 2 days. Sound crazy to you? Only Christians understand this. A day is as a 1000 years to the Lord.
Which means if your lucky enough to live to be 100 years old, it will seem as though you was only here for 2.4 hours when you pass over. Maybe thats why you have heard that your whole life passes in front of you before you die. Its as if it all just happened.

I haven't been alive for 2000 years, so the answer is no. Your question is unnecessary and very sarcastic. Why do you care what Christians wait for, if anything? Maybe you should get out more.

It sounds to me like you will be the one pounding at the door. The shhep and the goats will be sparated on the left and right. I am sorry to say that you are in the wrong line at this time. I hope that eventually you awaken before it is too late. Begin to read and study the BIBLE while you still have the time. GOD will know.
PS... HE didn't tell us the amount of time that we would be waiting. Just that HE would return and judge each of us.

I notice that the Christians here are utterly ignoring the fact that Jesus supposedly told his immediate followers that "There are those here who shall not taste of death" before the big kaboom.
Well look at that: They ARE all dead. Every single member of Jesus' generation. Looks like he blew it.

yes and I can wait a million more if need be, I take it by "bride left waiting at the altar", you are referring 2 two mortal beings, one gone and one remaining, this is why your analogy isn't accurate
