if you are positive she is not pregnant, it could be a false pregnancy. i would take her to the vet immediatly and make sure there' s no infection somewhere. and then you shoud have her spayed then you won't have to wonder.

It is likely she is having a false pregnancy. The reproductive cycle in dogs is different to those of a human. They go through very similar hormonal changes during their season regardless whether they are mated or not, unlike humans who have much more significant hormonal changes during pregnancy than during a menstrual period.
The result of this is that a significant number of bitches respond to their hormonal changes as if they were pregnant, even when they are not. You may well see other sorts of pregnancy behaviour in your girl, such as building a nest, carrying around a toy and treating it like a puppy, eating voraciously, and so on. She may keep this up for several weeks after her season.
The bad news is that once a b*tch has had a false pregnancy, she is much more likely to do so after every subsequent season, and it is rather exhausting (for both dog and owner).
Unless you have significant reason to keep her entire, I'd suggest spaying her once her false pregnancy is over.

It's a false pregnancy. My dog has been through 2 or 3 of them. She tries nesting, her teats get milk and she tries nursing her stuffed animals and licking them like they are her puppies. I would have a vet check her just to make sure but don't worry too much, it happens.

Does this dog have horns?
If so, I hate to be the one to break this news, but I think you actually own a cow...
