I didn't read most of these 4 pages so far, but Islam is responsible for millions of BUDDHIST deaths (in Afghanista, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Thailand more recently etc...) over the millenia, is responsible for millions of CHRISTIAN deaths (during the crusades, in numerous African countries such as Nigeria), is responsible for millions of HINDU deaths (during colonization of India and during India's split with Pakistan and Bangladesh), is responsible for millions of MUSLIM deaths (shiite versus sunni, wahabi verus less extreme, killing of muslim converts to other religions etc...), is responsible for tens of thousands of JEWISH deaths (in Israel, Argentina etc...).....is responsible for tens of thousands of ATHEIST/AGNOSTIC peoples' deaths via indiscriminate terrorism(9/11, 7/7 etc...)...

Only a moron or a muslim would not admit that this is the most violent religion in human history. A bunch of Arabs have spread the religion largely via violence or by attracting societal outcasts

I think a few replies above me stated clearly about what to internalize and what to be taken with some suspicion. I am talking about media either glorify or demonize religion or race at their whims.

Are you trying to go for your own kind of 'jihad' to malign the religion Islam? If you see around your place you may find that the Hindu fundamentalists cause havoc in recent memory when they took on helpless Muslims living in India. This phenomenon is more or less repeated by other religious bigots. But the difference is that they would find among their own sects more than attacking people having other than their own religion.

Therefore, do not try to mislead people with your fictitious and one-sided statistics. Work hard to create unity among people, rather using your brain to justify the divisions.

Fundamentalists of all faiths do horrible things in the name of religion ie: The crusades, the inquisition, burning abortion clinics(WWJD?)

Unfortunately, they make the news because they make the noise and what they do is outragious.

The facts are that most Muslims and Christians do get along when BOTH sides are willing.

I know a lot of fundamentalist Christians, who have no tolerance for Judaism, Buddhism, Islam or any other Christian who operates outside their narrow window of what it means to be Christian.

I have been invloved with several groups where there were protestant ministers (like myself), Imams, Catholic priests and Rabbis and we all got along respectfully and quite well.

Don't let the news skew your views. The people doing the good things get little if any overage there, but the bad guysl fill the screen.

Especially be wary of news channels that like to sensationalize and editorialize nearly everything. Including one which shall be nameless but it has three letters and starts with F and ends in X.

It's not limited to them either.

I'm guessing you are very religious.Well,this section has a lot of drama.Do you know why?Because of things like this.There are so many questions trying to knock down other religions.Are you grown or not?Anyway give it a few years because there will be no religion soon.It seems like nothing can be agreed on.I don't want to explain something so complicated to you because I doubt you even care.Half of my family is Christian and the other half is Muslim.We get along just fine.I don't even talk about religion with anybody because it seems to bring out the crazy in most people.I think you are crazy and ignorant.

I agree with rumbler_1, religion is violent. Not just Islam, but Christians as well. If you pay attention even religions that aren't of Islam and Christianity are also violent. Christians a like did horrible things all over the world : Africa, South America, India and
even Canada. It's not religion, but the very people who preach the words. God is loving, but people are not we are just dirty. Don't blame it on Islam, blame it on the preachers they are not God, but humans. Stop being racist, open your eyes.
