It depends on the person.. Here is the most common answer:
Toothpaste does more than help you achieve a winning smile. When dabbed on a pimple, toothpaste can get rid of it by morning. "It is drying and basically works like a clay mask," Kunin says. "It dehydrates the pimple and absorbs the oil," she says. Toothpaste works best on a pimple that has come to a head - like a whitehead, Kunin adds. "But be careful not to use a whitening toothpaste because they tend to have high levels of hydrogen peroxide that may irritate or burn the skin," she says. "If you are going to try it, use a white paste -- not a gel -- and skip this remedy if you have sensitive skin because it will be too irritating."
Crushed asprin with water (making a paste) should be more effective..

that's in basic terms a rapid restoration and you may't constantly use toothpaste. you do no longer would desire to apply proactive or some high priced branch save form. a great type of drugstore manufacturers paintings in basic terms as nicely. Cetaphil and purpose make stable cleansers and Neutrogena makes stable spot treatment gels. you apart from mght decide on a moisturizer; during the daylight hours, you will desire to positioned one on with SPF 30+. All you will desire to do is test till you come across the suitable products for you.

Nope it only iritates your skin. Just get an asiprin and crush it up then add a bit of water until it forms a paste then apply it to your zit and it should work because it has stalityic acid like most products that reduce zits btu cheaper.

I don't know what these people are talking about. Toothpaste dries a pimple up in a couple of hours to a day, depending on how bad it is. Yes, it stings but so does anything else that is supposed to dry them up. Toothpaste is just loads cheapers. Good luck!

yes it does. Put the toothpaste ONLY on the zit though, not on any healthy skin or it will dry it out. Leave the toothpaste on overnight and wash your face in the morining and it will be smaller if not completely gone. works for me!

Toothpaste has menthol or camphor which are known to make acne worse! Try Neutrogene Rapid Clear. It makes the TOP3 best list. See this source for why. http://www.beautyqa.com/

it worked for me but i also crushed up some aspirin and mixed it together. The aspirin makes the red go away and the toothpaste dries it up.
