clip in hair extensions?

Question

i have clip in hair extensions. and i ordered them from www.hairextensionsnow.com and they say that you can dye them too. i want to dye them black. and they are already dark brown,,


so does any one know how to dye them?

and yes, they are real human hair extensions

DONT DO IT!
Extension hair is processed very differantly.
they are boiled and set in a dye solvent solution for days then colored before even being sewn onto a weft.
this can lead to chancy results by coloring them and often damage them alot. plus you will never get the color to take on the weft (part where it is sewn together) roots on extensions lol. and they fade really funny.
you'd be better off ordering black extensions, and not ruining the ones you have.

they can only be colored if they are real human hair and not synthetic. if you ordered real ones, they are not cheap. just you just order the wrong color? i would try and exchange them if possible. if not, then if they are a dark brown you may be able to use them in your hair and they may blend in and look like highlights and lowlights. if you must color them then i would use a deposit only color since you are not trying to go lighter and only go darker. get a demi perment or semi perment color at the store in a darker shade and follow the directions.

you can dye them just like you would normal hair but, you only want to deposit color. Extension aren't supposed to bleed color but, this may happen once you apply color.so be careful.
