My daughter got ringworm, and has a pretty bad outbreak( the dr. said it was infatigo but it's OBVIOUSLY not) and now she has a perfect circle on the top of her head of dry skin and now there is no hair there! I finally started using antifungal cream on her spots but I need to know if I should put it on her scalp? Please Help!

When my daughter got ringworm on her scalp, the doctor said she needed to take something internally to cure it. At least call the doctor to see what he says, until then put the cream on it.

Yes, put it on her scalp and see a doctor. You can get ringworm on your scalp, and it does cause hair loss. Poor thing. Good luck.

I had ringworms one summer when I stayed with my Grandmother for the summer. Yes, you can get them in your hair as well as other places on the body. My Gandmother used a powder used for stinky feet, athletic foot . This will kill the fungus, apply daily until they are dried up and gone.
