If God could go to a pet shop that has all the animals big and small, dimesticated and Wild, but he could only get ONE, what animal would God have as his pet?
A dog? a flamingo? a tiger? a wolf? an elephent? :)
or maybe he would like a boa constricter :D

God having a normal animal (or even a human) for a pet would be like a human having a bacterium for a pet. It would be so short-lived and hard to share experiences with. Maybe as a subject for a few hours' observation.
What is to God, as a pet is to a human? Hmmmm...

It is said that Gods favorite animal is a Cow. He has unlimited pets. Especially cows, deer, peacocks, monkeys, parrots, These are amongst His Favorites. Read Krishna Book by Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada -it tells all of Gods favorites. even his Favorite food. (yogurt,butter) It comes from the cows. That is why it is a great sin to eat the flesh of cows. nicely, from what i understand in regards to the bible, the soul, and the spirit, animals might have souls (giving them that emotional and psychological capacity) yet they don't have spirits, it relatively is the area of people that is going to heaven. so... nonetheless I do have faith there are animals in heaven, i do no longer think of that demise pets in the international have spirits that then finally end up in heaven. message me for greater info. yet, to be honest, in basic terms God knows. for my area, i choose pets to pass to heaven.
