my system I get a diffuse abdominal pain in the center of my abdomen. I am talking just swallowing a sip of water and the pain kicks in. It doesn't seem like it could even get to my stomach that fast. With the deeper pain is also a prickly feeling just under the abdominal skin and mild nausea. But it's the fact that the smallest in-take sets it off and right away. What's up? Anyone know? Any doctors/nurses out there

You need to seek more professional help than yahoo answers QT. To me, it seems physiological, and you may get a couple of answers similar... I would strongly suggest you talk to a real professional. Good luck

It sounds exactly like an ulcer to me. I have one and same things happened to me. I got horrible pain in my stomach when eating and nausea. I woke up in the night with a horrible pain in my stomach on the upper right side and thought it was gall bladder, but after a visit to the emergency room and a 3 day stay in the hospital, I was diagnosed with a perforated ulcer. I was given a new ulcer drug and am on a restricted diet and I am 99% improved. I did not realize how much pain I was having until it went away. Go to the doctor and get it taken care of before it gets as bad as mine was and you end up in the ER or the hospital. Good luck and until you get to the doctor, stay away from fiber (like wheat bread, cereal, dry beans or peas, corn or corn products and raw vegetables or fruit) Eat starch like noodles, rice, potatoes, chicken, fish) And when you first get up in the morning, drink some room temperature water and avoid putting anything cold or hot into your stomach until you eat something like a cracker of a piece of dry toast (white bread).

no...but intuitively, it could mean your systems are shut off from the sleep you just had. So, get your systems going, your thorax working, and then sip...and then see if that happens. Otherwise it could be something else and you should see your physician.
