It depends. If you are shy on the phone or emails. If you think he likes you, ask in person. If you still don't know what to do, just be blunt and ask him so you can just get it over with. Take a chance. You never know. Good Luck!!!

Well, not to sound old fashioned, but why are you asking him out? This question sounds like it would be presented to someone you hardly know. Take the time to get to know him. Talk, write, call, and I think it will happen naturally. And, you may be surprised, he may be the one doing the asking.

first start a causal conversation.. when the conversation get more comfortable for you. find a common interest and go for the date. favorite movie, places to eat, hobbies what ever.. good luck
