Earthquake Cookies
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package devil's food cake mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tablespoon water
DIRECTIONS
Mix cake mix, eggs, shortening, and water in medium size bowl; mix with a spoon. Chill for 1 hour.
Shape dough into balls, roll in powdered sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8-10 minutes; or until brown.

Lemon Crisp
1 package Lemon Cake mix
1/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 -3 TBLSPs lemon Juice
yellow colored sugar ( optional)
Heat oven to 375
Combine cake mix Oil and Eggs, stir with spoon until thoroughly moistened.
Shape dough into balls, place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Place the 1/4 cp Sugar in shallow bowl, and dip the bottom of a glass in the sugar then Flatten each cookie ball with it to about 1/4 inch thickness.
Bake at 375 for 5-7 minutes till edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute then remove from cookie sheet.
In small bowl combine Lemon juice and powdered sugar until smooth. Drizzle this over the tops of the cookies then sprinkle with the yellow sugar.....These are Yummy good!

I've had cookies where you use chocolate cake mix and sprinkle powder sugar on top. It makes them really pretty and theyre really good. Email me if you want the recipe, I'll have to go look it up.
