ok, so my bf and I broke up last week over the fact that he said he needs his freedom and he feels like he's in prison living with me. That's because I found him texting 3 different women on his phone when he was sleeping. He says I was snooping and that nothing was going on with those women and that they were all just friends. I don't believe him at all. So, I kicked him out and he went to stay at a guy friends house for the last week. But then last night, he comes to my house at 3am saying that the guy he was staying with's girlfriend is pissed that he's still staying there and that he had to leave. I know it was wrong to let him in but I've known him for 8 years and it's hard to let someone you care about sleep in their car at christmas time. I thought he'd be leaving today but tonight he just goes out with his friends and acts like nothing is wrong. If it were such a prison in my house why would he want to come back? And NO we did not have sex and I made him sleep on the couch too

I know for a fact that he could have gone to another friends house that he works with but he is choosing to be back here at my house after he told me he feels like he's in jail here and wants his freedom. what should i do?

You should ust decide whether you want to still be with him or not and if you dont, you should make other living arrangements.
I had a ex that was constanntly texting girls, i found #'s in his pocket all the time and i gave him chance after chance after chance...trust me...it is not going to work out.
You are now left in this dramatic situation that is only going to get more dramatic. You ust have to make some decisions then stick to them...that is the best advice!!

sound like you are just a place to stay. My daughter has done the same thing and If I could kick this person out I would. She and YOU have to see that this is not a person who care for you -- HE is using you for a roof over his head only. He will find another place to stay and he is not your responsiblity, he is an adult right? Tell him to grown up and get his own life and leave yours alone. Be strong, don't worry about where he lives. Would you like me to come over there and kick him out? If I could I would. Be strong and do it yourself. God Bless

As you said, he knows you wouldn't let him sleep in his car, so really, he is using you. The guy is obviously going to act as though nothing is wrong unless you tell him to get out again (which he imagines you would never do). Unless he has a hom eto go to, he probably won't be leaving unless you kick him out.

Ask some guy over and when your bf gets upset tell him theres nothing going on and that your just friends. Then tell him you need your freedom and he needs to find another place to live.

I think you answered your question with "sleep in their car". He wants someone to take care of him without any responsibility.
Later I don't doubt that he may want to sleep with you also "just for old times". Most likely he would let you feed him and give him spending money also.

he probably looks at it as a free place to crash that he's familar with.
If he doesn't show an signs of looking to find his own place, bring up that he needs to move on soon or start paying rent and utilities. That should make it a little less convienant for him

you sound a little confused. can't he go to a parent or other relative's place? and is it possible those women were throwing themselves at him. he's probably not made of stone and if you find something attractive about him others might too. trust is one of those issues that are in the base of any relationship.

Don't let him use you for convenience. Sounds like thatis all he is doing. And I agree to putting your foot down about how he carries on with these other women. I hate that **** too!

he's just got nowhere else to go, and he's comfortable with you. chances are, he's using you until he's able to make his next move. I'm sure once he figures something more permanent out, he'll be gone. Stand your ground and don't let him take advantage of you. Tell him that he's going to have to figure something else out asap.
