ok my friend has been having an internet relationship with a guy from a different state, they've never met before but i can tell she really likes him. She tells me he is really caring and devoted (but in this world who can tell). Do you think she should trust him? oh and its only been about 2 weeks of them dating and they've already said "I love You".

I think that you should tell your friend that there are so many "different people online" that you can't possibly have a serious relationship with one. I mean like look at those girls that trusted those guys and thought it'd be cool to meet up with them and before ya know it they raped them and killed them. what ya need to tell your friend is that it is ok to have friends online but going beyond that is a serious and dangerous problemo

Guys... well... we can be very manipulative and evil... The things about internet dating is the other person your chating with can NEVER catch you... Because they arent around. This guy could have kids and a family, or be a psyco. You never know what the person is REALLY like. Ive been in the same situation, but roles reversed. A FEW times.. Once the girl was in another relationship the other time she was a total FAKE... Nothing like she portrayed!!!

the best thing for u to do is tell ur friend not to trust this guy because u can not trust people in this world today and i love u in two weeks should be a sign that he is crazy or something nobody can fall in love with somebody in two damn weeks no not happening

no i dont think she can trust him. but its not your place to tell her what to do either. you can suggest to her nicely that she needs to be careful and seriously consider what she is getting herself into, but ultimately she is going to have to make decisions on her own. sometimes you just have to let people make their own mistakes...just let her know that you are concerned for her emotional safety (and if she ever plans to meet him, which hopefully she won't, let her know you are concerned for her physical safety as well and that she shouldn't go alone). and just be sure to be with her if/when things don't work out with this guy.

they aren't really "dating" if they haven't seen each other physically...thats more like a game...you should tell her to be carefull because you never know if the person is telling the thruth over the internet
