I feel I should also mention that a co-worker has mono. Could it be?

Probably down with the Flu, or strep throat.
Drink A LOT of fluids, rest A LOT, don't drink anything cold, take an antibiotic, and of course eat well.

Hi there!
I'm sorry you are feeling so poorly.
You don't mention having a fever, so that rules out Mono.
So leaves me with, a cold, the flu, and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Did you get a flu shot? Some people can react to the shot by what you describe.
You don't say how long you have been feeling this way so if all these symptoms don't let up within 7 to 10 days, then I'd say it's time to get to a Doctor. Or sooner if you are feeling worse.
I hope you feel better soon! :)

are these chronic or new symptoms? If they aren't chronic and just recently appeared, I would say it is the flu or a cold...
