person has had a girlfriend for the last past 8 years. He tells you that she the girlfriend does matter to him and that she is just a conviences. What every that is suppose to mean. He play on the part that your in love and you have been hurt so many time you are not sure what to do. Help IM tried of being lied to.

He is lying to you to try and keep you around. He wants to keep both of you so he can use which one he wants from day to day.

I would say, count your blessing and get out of that relationship. Maybe you could try looking at this the other way around. How would you feel if you was the other woman and you just found out about a relationship with another woman? Him being involved with a women for 8 years and using you for what ever, he is playing with fire on both ends. Get out - go find a man that loves you and not another women. Honey I had a man in my life for 20 years and he had girlfriends the entire time. I didn't know it, I only found it out after I broke it off with him. You know what's going on, this situation will not improve and you are going to just end up feeling like a door mat. It's so hurtful when you fall love someone but they don't love you in return. I was in the same place you are, you deserve to be loved unconditionally and by someone who loves and is devoted to ONLY you...I now have a wonderful husband but it took alot of pain to get where I am, you can do it. If he doesn't care about her but has been dating her for 8 years and is cheating on her, what makes you think he would treat you any different? Maybe you're the one who is just for convenience. He is playing you and clearly doesn't deserve you because he isn't going to (and in fact isn't even now) treating you right. Break it off, and find someone more worthy of you.
