Any and I do mean ANY sex act that he wishes to perform on you.
That or a Plasma TV.
Your choice.

Does he know that you know? If not, don't be suspicious. An engagement ring is a beautiful gift. Just get him a present (something he'd really like). If you aren't sure, don't go overboard. If he's not planning on it, he might feel guilty afterwards. I don't know how to handle this...sorry. Hope this helps! Good luck and congrats!!!

You should just give him the Christmas gift you were planning on getting him and leave it at that. This is something extra special, and the only thing he wants in return is "Yes."

No. Give him a normal xmas gift but dont give him a gift for giving you a ring. The gift to him is saying "yes"

Just because it may not be "traditional" shouldn't stop you.
Live in the moment, and follow your heart.
He will be giving you this ring because he loves you and he knows that of all the things in the world that is number 1 on YOUR list.
So what would be number 1 on HIS list? A plasma TV, a trip to Vegas, season tickets to his favorite team.
Just remember guys and girls think VERY differently.

Well get him a gift of course but no I don't think you have to get him a "special" gift. If he does propose, which good luck if he does, get him a sweet card and tell him how happy you are and you are so excited to start your life with him. That means more than any store bought item.

You could think about getting a piece of jewellery in return, perhaps an eternity ring or bracelet. Or if you wanna get all mushy you could go down the 'Unique' root and have him named after a star for like £30.00 ($60.00) Congrats!

an engagement ring (as far as i know) is NOT a Christmas present if you get it on Christmas. it's up to you if you get him something. but legally...should you two ever break up (God forbid), since he would have given it to you on a holiday, you do not have to give it back since it qualifies as a gift (the same counts if you receive an engagement ring on your birthday). any other day you receive an engagement ring, you would have to give it back to him.

No, you don't have to give something in return - other than a 'yes' to his marriage proposal. That is supposed to make him the happiest man in the world, so nothing else is required!!
