I need some help with answers cause the ones I have are not working:

Why does God kill people when he knows it hurts other people? Why bother with Earth when everyone can just start out in heaven already?

Thanks

Thanks

Marion and Smiley gave me really simple answers.

My daughter is 8 and lost her Grandpa almost a month ago. Daily she is in tears with about 2 dozen new questions from why are we buried in the ground to why does God make people with broken bodies.

But right now I am having difficulty with theses questions. I guess I shouldn't have said Kill but leave the earth. She thinks that God wouldn't want people hurting when someone dies. She also said he should have made the earth bigger to hold everyone.

She saw the school therapist and now I am thinking a one to one with a priest is a good idea.

But at this point one thing I don't want to tell her there is a chance her grandpa is eternally dammed.

because he needs them in heaven to help the earth and because everyone has to learn to live before they die

Explain it this way - God thinks that everyone should have a choice if they want to live under in His house and his rules. We start here on Earth with total freedom from God. In heaven the "music" would be so loud, we'd wouldn't be able to think about anything except God - it's good if you love God, but it's not fair to people who haven't made up their minds yet. here we can have silence if we want to sit and think about it a while.
-
As for the pain and the killing... I'm not sure you can explain it to a grownup much less an child. What is Fair?? Instead dedicate yourself to have compassion and act on it through charity, patience and forgiveness. to err on the side of generousity. To anyone who doubts the justice of God, know that we were charged with caring for each other as the second greatest command but still given the freedom whether or not to obey it.

Your daughter wants to know this? Wow, how old is she?

Sounds like you two need to have some serious mother-daughter talks about death and grieving. Did you recently have a death in the family? If you did, there is help available.

God, btw, doesn't often strike people dead. This is really rare. Most of the time, 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% of the time, people just die, because they are human and their bodies aren't meant to last indefinately. Those that don't die of old age get knocked off by disease, war, famine, accidents, consequences, stupidity, or suicide. None of those things qualify as "God".

As a child, your daughter still has the intuitive sense that we never left "heaven". Heaven is our true state. What is called "life" is a dream that we are separate from God. God kills no one, and nothing, for God would be killing parts of Himself...God is incapable of anything but perfect love.

Im not sure what you are referring to when you say "why does God kill people".
There were many instances in the Hebrew Scirptures where the Israelites wared against other pagan nations and Jehovah gave these pagan nations into their hand. But these were pagan nations who did not and would not listen to their Creator and for the sake of God's chosen race were destroyed for various reasons which I wont go into now.
Also closer to today,it is unfortunate that the churches of Christendom teach that God "takes" little children to be in heaven with them and other such lies.
Death, pain, suffering and evil are not God's doing.Jehovah is a God of Love and takes no delight in the suffering of his human creation. He created Adam and Eve,perfect and designed them to live forever. He put them in a beautiful garden paradise,Eden and told them to be fruitful and multiply. This was God's plan for mankind.
Death was introduced to mankind through the disobedience of Adam and Eve.That is why we grow old,get sick and eventually die.God does not kill people.He will however,bring about destruction of the wicked as He did in Noah's time when there was a global flood.In God's due time the wicked will be destroyed once and for all.Then Jehovah wil usher in His new system of things whereby men will once again be brought back to perfection and have the prospect of eternal life.The earth will again be restored to paradise conditions.The Bible does not teach that everyone who is good goes to Heaven.This again is a teaching of Christendom not of the Bible.Jehovah created the earth for mankind to reside on.(Ps.37:9-11,29:Pr.2:21;
Dan.2:44;Rev.21:3,4)
If you need help in answering scriptures questions why not visit your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. They have a accurate and thorough understanding of the Bible and would be only too happy to help you. Also we have a couple of wonderful publications designed especially to help young ones understand the Bible.

There is only one answer to these questions, and it has nothing to do with the christian version.
The entire universe is ruled by balance. Good and evil ARE NOT fighting each other, they are dancing, leaning on each other, and its a beautiful thing. In order to maintain this balance there must be both good and evil, night and day. We cannot all start off in heaven because we would not learn anything, we would not learn to accept this balance. Once you realize that good and evil need each other to exist at all, it makes a lot more sense.
Would you rather be caught in a balance of good and evil? Or be in a void of nothingness? We have forgotten to be grateful for our very lives

First of all God do not kill people and it is destined for all mankind to die. It really do hurt us when our loves ones die but we must remember that God has a plan for all of us and we need to pray for God to give us strength through it all and bear the heavy load of grief. We are earthly human beings and this is just something we all have to go through. Now the ones in heaven are spiritual beings and cannot compare to us humans and we did not start our lives in heaven but here on earth and so did God's son Jesus. Someday we are not going to hurt anymore when Jesus comes and we are going to live forever, that is if your name is written in the book of the lamb.

What is she talking about with God killing people?
What is she talking about that people can begin with heaven?

I am a Christian and I am also a Sunday school teacher.

God doesn't kill people, people kill people. Even when it appears that God has given the order to kill, it is in a circumstance in which people have brought upon themselves by being sinfull. God has a purpose for everything, we may not understan, as he is so much more supreme than we are that we can not understand long range things. God can also take any bad thing that happens and turn it around for good, in his plan for us as long as we have faith in him. We do not understand, but he is in control.

When Adam and Eve where first put on the earth, God was communicating with them freely all the time. Talking, teaching, etc. God made the earth originally a pure and sin-free place, so it was very much like Heaven, it was a Paradise. When Satan, the Devil, one of the highest and most beautiful Angels that God had created, rebelled against God and wanted to be as equal to God, he betrayed God and tempted and lied to Eve and caused her to go against God's commands about the forbidden fruit. She ate the fruit and shared it also with her husband, causing him to sin as well. They were now not pure and clean and could not approach God freely like they did before.

Then God sent the Word, his commandments, the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ. Jesus died for our sins and because he did this, we can now approach God again. Jesus is God as he is God's Word, made to be flesh.

Important for your child to understand, not everyone can or will go to Heaven. Only those who accept Jesus as their Saviour will be with him in Heaven. This is because only those who are pure and clean may enter Heaven and the only way to obtain this is through Jesus' gift of salvation when he died on the cross and shed his blood as payment for our sins, allowing us to be clean again so that we may be in Heaven.

Hope that helps.

first of all God does not kill people. Second of all we do not start out in heaven. We start with an egg and sperm. Why not go with the truth.
