Hello, How are you?
I would have to say pagans and most christian have some thing in common..
any guess?
well the quote on quote christian holidays can be traced back to pagans.
don't take my word look it up..
something to go on
The encyclopedia Americana informs us: The reason for establishing December 25 as Christmas is some what obscure, but it is usually held that the day was chosen to correspond to pagan festivals that took place around the time of the winter solstice, when the day begin to lengthen, to celebrate the rebirth of the sun... The roman Saturnalia (a festival dedicated to saturn, the god of agriculture, and to the renewed power of the sun) also took place at this time and some Christmas customs are thought to be rooted in this ancient pagan celebration 1977 VOL.6 p.666
still not good look up in the new catholic encyclopedia 1967 vol.III p.656
Easter?
the catholic encyclopedia tells us
A great many pagan customs celebrating the return of spring gravitated to Easter. The egg is the emblem of the germinating life of early spring..The rabbit is a pagan symbol and has always been an emblem of fertility 1913 vol.V p.227
So If one is serving God then one should make sure that the customs in which they follow come from god...

Hi!
And how dare you think that we would all immediately bash someone just because of their beliefs. we love all people. just like Jesus
arent you bashing MY beliefs by posting this stereotypical, rude, and assuming question?
I'll pray for you, both of you

Well, I'll respond as an atheist: stop trying to be special and bait others. It's sophomoric and cliche.
