its a shame that most people love their bodies for external appearences but really do not know what they really are made up of.
when Holy Scriptures say that man is created from dust (soil.mentioned as clay) and water -- it means that we are really made up of all the components present in them.
our bodies are 75% water which comprises of mostly the plasma, which has components of soil -- like sodium, calcium, phosphorous, nitrates, carbonates, and many many more.
its really sad that inspite of science having progressed and reaching for the sky, sometimes fails to reach most of the people.
and the person above me -- sperm is in suspension of semen, something made up of water, fructose (for energy in form of ATP), sodium hydroxide (to neutralize the acidic environment of females vagi**) from the prostrate and cowper glands.

Sperm are not like sea-life at all. Sperm is used to fertalize the egg not supposedly evolve over millions of years. To think that bio organisms adapted to so many different ways of living that we just popped up? We are 1100% smarter than any other animal and if evolution were true, there would be atleast organisms that are half as smart as we are. Sperm are a way of reproducing not changing into something completely different.

Sperm looking like sea life does nothing to support your claim! If a rock formation looks like an Elephant does this mean Elephant evolved from rocks!? I am not questioning if man came from the sea or not just the means you use to bolster your claim its apples and oranges

If you want to believe you evolved from maggots in the sea, who's to stop you? Personally, I think those who believe we evolved from the sea just don't get the complexity of life and that there is definitely a design at play. Men and women were meant to provide half of the chromosomes each through egg and sperm, so what's the problem?

Whatever. I would think the fact that we have a fish, reptilian and primate brain, all superimposed from bottom to neocortex would be a more compelling argument ...
or that amniotic fluid contains salt in exactly the same proportion as seawater ...
or that human embryos at earliest stages bear an incredible likeness to fish embryos.

erm... nice idea.... I'd like to support any support of evolution... but honestly mate that argument is awefull. How can you compare a 9 month birth to millions of years of evolution? The processes are 100% diffrent, and no sperm is not like sea life.

Now, I've never heard that arguement before. That's quite imaginative. So a woman's ovum is ... an anemone?
edit:
Marissa just pointed out that we're 75% water. That strengthens your stance!
