I have win media player 10.
it doesn't say anything about dvd player..burner...yes.
how do i download such a player?

ok.
i found power dvd.
but now it won't play properly.
i hear some sound intermitently but no picture.
any ideas?

Just put the DVD in and WMP should pick it up and play it

There are several free dvd players on the Internet. Do a Google.com search for free dvd player. Windows Media Player, unless using Windows XP Media Center, will not play DVDs due to licensing restrictions of the DVD software. However, once you have a full DVD player installed, Windows Media Player should play DVDs fine. Hope that helps. I've included a link to one of the DVD players I use.

you can Use Cyberlike PowerDVD 7.0 .
windows Media Player Cannot Work with Some DVDs
but PowerDVD working With all DVD Formats .

need a DVD ROM.. and dvd player such as Cyberlink power DVD and others.. u can get this player at download.com.. Then u just insert the disc and play it!
