all i want to do is find some normal 13 year olds who don't want to sit there all day and talk about their boyfriends, and some normal guys who don't feel like they have to put a cussword in every sentence!!!

Yeah, I'm 14. Last year thats all they ever talked about. And how much they wanted to 'do' all the girls in the class. They kind of calm down in the 8th grade though. After they all get slapped once or twice. Try that. After I did that to a couple guys, they all calmed down and keft me alone. The cussing I don't get. I just call them insecure losers and get all my friends to do that too and they eventually get it through their thick heads that Girls don't like that and stop, Unfortunately it like takes a year... I don't know what to do about the girls. Just find more people like you. I just go and talk to somone else if I don't like a conversation. Try like joining a HUGE group like the band or drama club. There are alot of different kinds of people in those types of clubs and there has to be someone like you somewhere in them...

I'm 29. I guess things haven't changed much since I was in school. :-(
Sorry to tell you, but that is "normal" 13 year old behavior. Eventually, they grow out of it and mature and become better people, but you'll have to wait for that to happen. Either that, or else they simply have a very limited grasp of vocabulary. Seek out somebody who speaks your language. They are out there, but I agree that they are much more difficult to find.

find someone outside your kind of group. teenagers these days are all about attitude and high hormones. find a couple that do other things,like get off their butts and go to the movies or something.

Know that (most) all of them will grow out of it. Your parents were probably once like them. If you're religious at all a youth church group would have people that share your values.

I really know what you mean...I think it's just part of the age...they think it's "cool" and "in" to talk about this stuff. I think it's stupid
