i was wondering if a bulldog makes a good companion. it would be living with an lab which is my sisters

from all I've read and heard, bulldogs are great companions.

French bulldogs are more affectionate and less prone to health problems and dog-aggressive behaviors than English or American. (They're the smaller, bat-eared bulls.) All bulldogs do have some health issues and are pretty expensive, unless you rescue an adult from a shelter.

If the recent owners of the dog were decent, you shouldn't have a problem. If the lab has lived without other dogs, it might not be too willing to share, but it doesn't hurt to try!

bulldogs make a good companion but they have been know to have alot of health problems, plus they are pretty darn expensive.

This breed is patient and gentle with children and usually gets along well with other dogs and cats. Due to their relaxed nature this type of dog doesn’t make the best watchdogs, and obedience training to curb stubborn behavior should be started early.

depends on what kind of bulldog your are talking about. english bulldogs maybe? they are good pets, but require usually large amounts of care. they have skin problems, allergies, and nasal issues, since they don't have a nose. research fully whatever breed of bulldog you are talking about and all the plus' and minus'. good luck

Depends on how you raise the pooch, I have had bad luck with bulldogs but, I think it just depends on the atmosphere of its home.

they are very friendly and nice, they have a bad reputation because people do not keep them in good conditions so they get aggressive. as long as you love and play with him a lot he wont be aggressive or anything
