Oh yes it does happen. And when it does it is incredible. I am a firm believer that love never dies. Love will connect those of us lucky enough to have it forever. Ah, listen to me babble. Anyways, it does happen. And when it does....watch out......because love, and passion G-R-O-W exponentially. Just use caution and make sure you and the other have grown past the things that separated you in the first place. Losing someone twice feels lousy.

I have been sought out by an ex from 10-15 yrs ago. I do not have any feelings for him whatsoever. That is in the past. He expressed he did still care for me. I had only talked with him by phone. I did not want to meet him in person at all.
I have heard many stories of past flames being rekindled. If that is what both of you want, then go ahead.

Yes! I dated this one guy and then I moved away and we stopped seeing each other. About 5 years later we reconnected and started dating again. We changed though, so unfortunately it didn't work out.

I work out at the gym, and there is this guy who is like 60 yrs old and he ran into his fiance from when he was 19, online- they hadn't spoken since the break up years ago- well, that was in August and they are dating now- Their lives are so parrall its wierd, both got married same year and divorsed same year, (both married for like 20 yrs) They have same # of grandkids, blablabla.. he is so cute and goes on and on about it when I see him. It's like listening to a movie on Hallmark.

Yeah stuff like this really happens...I dated a guy back in highschool...military, time, and our own lives caused us to go in different directions. When my marriage split up we "reconnected" that was after almost 40 years...Yeah I'm old I know it...LOL

of course it does....sometimes the feelings may lead to a quick fling, other times it may lead to a long term relationship. Just go with the feelings and hopefully there are no other spouses involved who will be hurt. But don't forget the reasons things didn't work out in the first place.

Absolutely, & it was my ex-husband memorys came back as if it
were yesterday. He even payed for my flight there & return. Love
doesn't die it just lays dormant in your heart until it's touched by that loved one again.

Yeah. And 30 minutes later you bring up something you didn't want to, you recall why you broke up earlier and you realize it all just... had to be as it was and it was definitely the right decision to break up!!!
LoL
