My theory is this!(if your question doesnt get removed first!)
You know how there are so many movies and books about the 'scary future' where the world is controlled by the government? ('V for Vendetta' "1984") well, guess what, that scary future has arrived! The media carefully manipulate people into spending sprees, staying home, thinking about this or thinking about that...We are already puppets! Yahoo answers is just doing its bit to control the world, make sure whats read and answered is only what THEY want.
The real question is, WHO are THEY? And to what end is all of this?

Get used to it. I used to do yahoo answers a lot for a while and stopped for a few months. Just today I started answering questions a few minutes ago.

you cannot be rude or insult the person asking the question,or saying things like they are dumb or make any snide remarks....Another thing is they will ask a question and people give one word answers like" yes "or "No" and don,t give any details....some people answer questions for points only, they have no glue as to helping the person asking the question...Its bad for the person asking the question cause he gets nothing out of it...Then its also bad for the one that answers cause he won,t get picked for the best answer and get 10 points...Now thats just my opinion.........and some people will turn you in for that....

They do it so that Yahoo answers remains a helpful establishment as intended, with as little BS as possible. I think you'll notice that they can use all the "control" they can get by with...

Check the community guidelines and terms of service. Is it possible that your questions violate them in any way?
Short answer -- because it's their web site and they can do what they want with it.

If you check on the report abuse and the rules you will see that they are doing this to make it a friendly community.

So far I think they are not controlling enough. Too many hateful, sexist and racist "questions".
