portefeuille: port[a] fie-ugh (the "a" is barely there)
ecossais: eh coss eh
paix: pay
enceinte: ong sant
meurt: myrrh
fils: feece
These are only approximations and do not do entire justice to the French pronounciation. Not knowing how you pronounce English, I have had to play safe.
