A very popular trainer aircraft is the Cessna 152
In most airspaces, you are to remain 1000 feet above, 500 feet below and 2000 feet horizonaly....152
Things change at night, and above 10k'

Acouple for airspace:
Class
B...."Big" or " Busy" must have specific clearance to enter/operate. ie:
'N12345 cleared into Class Bravo Airspace". (you MUST hear these words to legally enter>
G : "GO" remain clear of clouds with 1 mile vis for day.uncontrolled airspace. Above 1200', not must of it exists except in the "middle of no- where". Hardly ANY on the east coast.
E: For EVERYONE, or everywhere else... the lowest class of Controlled airspace.


Class A....................... Not Applicable........ Not Applicable.
Class B....................... 3 statute miles....... Clear of Clouds.
Class C....................... 3 statute miles....... 500 feet below.
1,000 feet
above.
2,000 feet
horizontal.
Class D....................... 3 statute miles....... 500 feet below.
1,000 feet
above.
2,000 feet
horizontal.
Class E:
Less than 10,000 feet MSL... 3 statute miles....... 500 feet below.
1,000 feet
above.
2,000 feet
horizontal
At or above 10,000 feet MSL. 5 statute miles....... 1,000 feet
below.
1,000 feet
above.
1 statute mile
horizontal.
Class G:
1,200 feet or less above the
surface (regardless of MSL
altitude).
Day, except as provided in 1 statute mile........ Clear of clouds.
