Forever if you take care of them.
If you don't take care of them, then they might only last 5 years.
Teeth need nutrition and not sugar.
I read that sugar stops the flow of nutrition to the teeth for a short while.
So you eat enough sugar and not enough nutrition, your teeth won't last you long.
Cut back on the sugar.

Can last as long as you live. Don't drink cola's.. They are strong enough to dissolve rust. So what do they do to your teeth.. Medical problems can cause tooth decay too.

God made them to last our whole life. Unless you don't take care of them....then you're out of luck.
