First of all keep that soda away from you while eating. Soda is fizzy and takes up space in your stomach. This does not allow you to eat as much as your normally would. Instead, if you need a liquid along side your meal, opt for water and take small sips. Water is absorbed the fastest from all liquids that you consume.
Now to eat, instead of eating 3 big beals a day, eat 4 to 5 small compact meals per day. In the morning, eat cereals or oats with some milk. Eat a small quantity. 100 gms cereal and 125 ml milk. At about 11:30 - 12:00 eat a fruit or juice. For lunch, a small portion of rice or roti with lots of vegetables and pulses. During the evening, fruit juice or coconut water with biscuits or wafers or a vegetable sandwich. For dinner, no carbs, low cal, protein and fibre. If you are a vegetarian then eat vegetables, pulses, no rice, no roti at night. If non vegetarian, then a piece of boild chicken would be good. Keep away from red meat (mutton, beef etc).Before sleeping a glass of milk is fine.
I am sure you feel that this is a diet that would be suggested for people who wish to keep a stable weight. But I advice this to you as I think that even if you want to gain weight you should keep away from fats and cholestorol. Increasing the repetitions of meals from 3 to 5 will increase your calorie intake but at the same time give your metabolism time to work.
I also suggest that you make your life a bit active. Work out, jog, swim. This will burn energy and increase your urge to consume food. Drink alot of water all through the day.

Dont bother too much that you are skinny.. Eat normally as you feel like ...do not be so cautious..!!! you are fine and healthy now..If you do consume something unwanted than what you presently have and gain weight later you will have to put a question on how to reduce weight and control diet and maybe on how to come out of Cholestrol and Sugar.!!!
Presume that you are a female...Once you give birth to a baby then you will gain some more weight...
If this question is out from you for you need to look beautifull..then lemme me say...that you are one !!!

Try eating more often. Break big meals into portions and eat 5-6 times a day. Drink minimally until you have gotten a decent portion in you. No carbonated stuff with meals. Oh almost for got try boost or ensure shakes 2x a day.

Never take any fluids during the course of your meals or limit the intake of water to the minimum: rather than gulping a glass full try to take a sip or two in between. By doing so you wont feel heavy and still u've room for some more. Initially it may sound hard, but slowly you can make it a habit..............

Why dont you eat half of whats on your plate then open the drink you have and also drink half of it, then just eat the rest of your food. Make a commitment to yourself that you will eat half the food or all of it before you drink your drink. Eat six really small meals a day.

From my opinion I suggest that eating fruits is really good because not only its healthy but also makes you hungry ( In my case). I think to gain a little weight eat more fatty foods. Dont eat more than your normal diet that will make you sick! Hope my suggestion helps you!

Ditch the soda. Eat high cal foods in small amounts but eat them frequently. Exercise to gain muscle mass. Be happy with skinny...you'll live longer and live better.

Eat four or five small meals a day. Don't eat more than 800 calories at a time, your body can't process it. I too need to gain weight! Or maybe we should train to be feather weight boxers!

Do you think maybe if you over load your plate that maybe you might eat the amount actually required for you. If drinking juice/soda helps, then go for it!!! You can drink your milk or get your supplement in another way.

Do not take soda or soups before start of eating food...eat selectve and proper food having high fat and calories..do some moderate exercises...laugh and make others to laugh..Be happy always...You will get what U want mera Vatsh !
